چکیده

White shrimp, Penaeus vannamei, farming represents one of the most important aquaculture activities in world with a high growth rate. However, intensification processes induce negative side effects on health organism, associated dysbiosis phenomenon. Consequently, illnesses, mainly attributable to Vibrio genus bacteria, have been reported shrimp ponds. Studying diversity and ecology bacteria systems is essential prevent control diseases. Therefore, present study analyzes bacterial load microbial population variation P. vannamei hepatopancreases infected pathogenic parahaemolyticus strain (so-called CVP2) acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) under controlled conditions. The results showed an change community structure hepatopancreas. Furthermore, presence considerably increased clearly dominated compared control. Dysbiosis microbiota constrictions tubules (characteristic signs early stage AHPND) could be observed before visible manifestation disease.

Draft Genome Sequence of Vibrio parahaemolyticus Strain VP14, Isolated from a Penaeus vannamei Culture Farm

Here, we report the draft genome sequence of an isolate of Vibrio parahaemolyticus, VP14, recovered from the gut of Penaeus vannamei shrimp farmed in southern India. The genome of VP14 comprised 5,224,046 bp with a GC content of 45.3% and contained 5,326 genes, including 4,972 coding sequences.

Structural Insights into the Cytotoxic Mechanism of Vibrio parahaemolyticus PirAvp and PirBvp Toxins

In aquaculture, shrimp farming is a popular field. The benefits of shrimp farming include a relatively short grow-out time, high sale price, and good cost recovery. However, outbreaks of serious diseases inflict serious losses, and acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) is an emerging challenge to this industry. In South American white shrimp (Penaeus vannamei) and grass shrimp (Penaeu...

Complete Genome Sequence of Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease-Causing Vibrio campbellii LA16-V1, Isolated from Penaeus vannamei Cultured in a Latin American Country

We report here the complete genome sequence of Vibrio campbellii, isolated from Penaeus vannamei cultured in a Latin American country. The Tn3-like transposon and pirAB genes were encoded on the plasmid pLA16-2. These data support the geographical variations in the virulence plasmid found among acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND)-causing Vibrio isolates from Latin America and Asia.

Draft Genome Sequence of Vibrio owensii Strain SH-14, Which Causes Shrimp Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease

We sequenced Vibrio owensii strain SH-14, which causes serious acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) in shrimp. Sequence analysis showed a large extrachromosomal plasmid, which encoded pir toxin genes and shared highly sequence similarity with the one observed in AHPND-causing Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains. The results suggest that this plasmid appears to play an important role in s...

Draft Genome Sequence of Non-Vibrio parahaemolyticus Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease Strain KC13.17.5, Isolated from Diseased Shrimp in Vietnam

A strain of Vibrio (KC13.17.5) causing acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) in shrimp in northern Vietnam was isolated. Normally, AHPND is caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus, but the genomic sequence of the strain indicated that it belonged to Vibrio harveyi. The sequence data included plasmid-like sequences and putative virulence genes.
